Once At Mount Aragats

First days of the autmn we decided to spend our weekend climbing the Mount Aragats. The clear and almost the last sunny days inspired us to take a break from work and relax breathing the fresh mount air. Mount Aragats is an isolated four-peaked volcano massif in Armenia. Its northern summit, at 4,090 m (13,420 ft) above sea level, is the highest point of the Lesser Caucasus and Armenia. It is also one of the highest points in the Armenian Highlands.

Mount Ararat is a snow-capped and dormant compound volcano . It consists of two major volcanic cones: Greater Ararat, and the Armenian plateau with an elevation of 5,137 m (16,854 ft); and Little Ararat, with an elevation of 3,896 m (12,782 ft). The Ararat massif is about 40 km (25 mi) in diameter.
